Scope and objectives of the proposed Action
The scope of the proposed Action ENRICH4ALL is to develop and deploy a multilingual e-government chatbot. Since
a chatbot or simply bot is a kind of virtual assistant, it is continuously available and can instantly reach large amounts
of people, irrespective of age, gender, educational background, and geographical barrier. The main objective of the
ENRICH4ALL Action is to develop the service "eChat", which will use the Machine Translation service eTranslation,
so that the user can ask and receive back their requests in their own mother tongue.

Activity description This activity is about developing an e-government multilingual chatbot module (eChat)
based on the already existing AI chatbot technology of SupWiz. The eTranslation
service will be integrated in this technology, to produce a language-independent
chatbot. The asset of such a chatbot is that it will lower language barriers and reach all
users to communicate in their mother tongue about any administrative questions they
might have.
Three tasks will be carried out:
Task 1: Build integration to eTranslation
SupWiz’ AI Chatbot solution BotStudio and live chat solution SupChat will be integrated
with eTranslation via available API. There will be a special focus on ensuring real time
communication with real time translation.
Task 2: Set up and train chatbot for at least one public authority
This task includes identification and gathering of input data, e.g. knowledge repositories
and historic data, setting up intents and training the chatbot in understanding users, and
designing conversational flows and replies.
Three deliverables will be produced:
Deliverable 1: Chatbot for main language
Deliverable 2: Integrated chatbot with eTranslation in supporting several European

languages, and tested and verified with end users
Deliverable 3: Deployed solution for at least one public institution

Activity description The goal of the linguistic knowledge acquisition is the creation of the needed linguistic
(text) resources and linguistic knowledge for Romanian language, synonym
dictionaries, idiomatic or native expressions) for the Natural language processing task.
The acquired linguistic material should
a) comply with the considered scenarios and use cases of the project and cover as
much as possible of the linguistic issues
b) be of adequate size for the training, calibration and testing tasks of the considered
domain
More exactly we envisage to acquire and provide
a)lists of possible dialogue scenarios in Romanian, maybe other languages, to exhaust
as much as possible the considered domain.
b)lists of synonyms or synonym expressions that could be met
c)lists of possible idiomatic or native expressions that could happen in such dialogue
