Use your mouse to click “Basic/Date & Time”. Then click “Automatic Time Adjustment”

lot of hard disk space. If you do not stop recording, the camera will keep recording
until there is no free disk space left. To stop recording, click “STOP REC”. The camera
will stop recording the video. If you wish to view the recorded video files, you can
browse to the location where the files have been saved to.
You will first need to know your WAN IP address, which is the Internet address your
modem or router received from your provider. You can easily find your IP address at
www.whatismyip.com. Write down the IP address, you will need it later on.
To be able to access the camera through the Internet you will need to open port 80 in
your modem or router. Consult the manual of your modem or router to find out how to
open this port.
After following these instructions you can test the connection. Open your Internet
browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox). To access the camera through the
Internet enter the following address in the address bar: http://wanipaddress:80 . If
everything has been correctly configured you are now able to view the image of the
camera.
It is not always possible to access the camera from within your own home network
using your WAN IP address. This will only work if your modem or router supports the
so-called loopback function. If your modem or router is not equipped with this function
you will need to test the camera from another location or Internet connection. Ask a
friend or colleague to access the camera from his/her location.
An external source can, for instance, be a door switch. You can connect this with 1
cable to the Common pin and 1 cable to the Input 1 pin. To connect a cable, use a
screwdriver to push the orange lip above the pin. Now push in the cable. Configuring
the external source can be done in the “Advanced/Sensors”.
1. Encryption: Here you can secure the video stream of the camera with an
encryption key. The maximum key length is 16 characters. We recommend you
to choose a key with a minimum length of 6 characters. The key may consist of
both letters and numbers.
JPEG encryption can best be used in combination with a user or guest authority level
(see chapter 5.5) and not in combination with an admin authority level.

2. FTP service: If the FTP service is enabled you can let the camera send images to
your FTP server as soon as motion is detected.
3. Maintenance: Here you can upgrade the software of the camera to a newer
version. You can also return the camera back to its default settings.
Q: The image of the camera shows horizontal lines. Why does this happen?
A: This can happen when the light of a neon tube is not synchronous to the lights of
the camera. You can solve this by changing the exposure, in the webpage of the
camera under “System Setup/Image Setting”, to 60 Hz, which is the same
frequency as the neon light.
A: Click “Extra” in Explorer, then “Internet Options”. Choose the “Security” tab, then
“Custom Level”. Disable all ActiveX options and click “Ok”. After a restart the
image should work.
