1. What are different regions in Europe?

 South: Pristine clear blue waters, the best beaches, exotic resorts blended with the
beauty of snow clad Alps head to South of Europe.
 North: One of the most prosperous and egalitarian part of Europe.
 West: World's most visited region. There is grandeur in everything - heritage buildings,
unbelievable architecture, a confluence of culture and fashion.
 Central: Plush green meadows with cattle grazing adjoining a crystal clear lake with
beautifully adorned houses overlooking snow capped mountains - and all of this in the
same frame.
 East: For years behind the Iron Curtain, this part of Europe bears little resemblance
with the others.

2. Why is train travel the most effective way of travelling around Europe?

Traveling by train is the quintessential way to tour Europe. Unlike airports, European train
stations are located right in the middle of town. You don’t have to spend time and money
traveling into the city because you’re already there. In contrast, traveling from the airport into
the city can take anywhere from 20-60 minutes. There are no lengthy check-in procedures or
security screening for most train travel. You simply show up a few minutes before the train
leaves, buy a ticket if you don’t have one, and hop on the train. Many rail services now offer
electronic tickets that are sent directly to your phone. That means no waiting in ticket lines and
it makes planning your train travel even easier. Note: Not every country has adopted e-tickets
but it’s becoming more popular every year. Europe’s rail network is extremely vast so it is
possible to travel to even small towns by train. Most destinations offer multiple trains a day.
The most popular routes usually have a train each hour so getting to where you want to go is
rarely difficult.

4. Why is the region United Kingdom so-called?

The 1707 Acts of Union declared that the kingdoms of England and Scotland were United into
