In this lab, we had learned how to measure the voltage through the circuit and
it’s resistors. We learn how to put resistors into series and parallel and see
how each situation cause a different current to develop. We learn how to use
the multimeters and the power supply in the lab. We found that there are
many area of experiment error in the equipment, including the tolerance
levels in the resistors. We learn the use of Ohm’s Law; determining that the
higher the resistance, the current decreases, as long as the voltage stands the
same. In series, we learn that resistance adds up to find the equivalent
resistance. In parallel, we learn that resistance adds up the inverses and use
the inverse of that to find the equivalent resistances. We learned that by
switching the two multimeter connecter leads from positive to negative jack
and vice versa, the current flows in the oppostie direction, and the value of the
voltage will become negative. We learn to build easy circuits on our
protoboards and get our hands into electrical engineering.

[12:38, 20/06/2020] Idrisa Chubwa: conclusion: In this experiment, we

calculate our values for voltage, resistance and current by calculations and we
verify the results by doing the experiment. Also, we know more about how
capacitors and resistors work. As a result, we got small amount of errors in
our experiment. Most of our errors are coming from measuring voltage,
current and resistance. We cannot measure exact values for voltage current
and resistance due to other effect like heat, air and balance of the hand. We
proved that resistance is the quotient of voltage and current keeping current
constant. Also, we prove the current is the product of voltage and resistance
by keeping resistance constant.
