TRANSIT OF PLANETS

TRANSITING OF VENUS

The transit of the Venus is auspicious through the houses I, II, III, IV, V, VIII, IX,
XI and XII from the Janma rasi or Moon sign in the natal horoscope.

Transit of Venus through

I House : (Good) Peace, good for sleep, dresses, perfumes, luxury articles,
marital relations; new position, bed comforts, marriage ceremony, blessed with
son, attraction with fair sex, gain in business, enjoys wealth and happiness,
defeats his enemies, extra marital relations, involved in getting education,
truthful, earns through trading in liquids, cosmetics, fancy goods and he may
also earn through the trading of perfumes.

II House : (Good) Good for wealth, food, cloth, perfumes; happiness for

investment, increased expenditure on pleasures, company of friends, good
food, enjoys plenty of sex, takes care of his wife very much.

TRANSIT OF SATURN

The transit of the Saturn is auspicious through the houses III, VI and XI from the
Janma rasi or Moon sign in the natal horoscope.

When Saturn transits XII, I, and IInd houses from Moon sign, it is said to be the
period of Sade Sati, i.e. a period of 7 1/2 years. Saturn remains in one sign for
about 2 1/2 years. Its transit in 3 signs is for a period of 7 1/2 years, named as
Sade Sati. It is feared by all and occurs after every 30 years. Although people are
afraid of this entire period, yet the entire period should not be dreaded, as during
this period many good things happen.

In the horoscope in the margin, Moon is in sign

2. Hence when Saturn reaches Aires (which is
XII house) the Sade Sati (7 ½ years period of
evil Saturn) begins and when Saturn crosses
Gemini (which is in II house), the Sade Sati
ends.

Transit of Saturn through

I House : (Not good) Ill health to wife, children; food not good, enemies,
disgrace, disharmony, separation from relations, loss of wealth, increase in
expenditure, failure in jobs, transfer, change of residence, problem in business,
imprisonment, foreign travel, dull minded, unable to decide, inactive physically
and mentally, pains in the body due to wind problems, fear of injury from
weapon, stone or fall from height, endeavours fruitless, financial condition very
weak, people turn antagonistic, danger of food poisoning, chronic diseases,
accidents, drowning etc. (This is the 2nd part of 7 ½ years of Saturn and considered
bad).

II House : (Not good) Loss of wealth, psychological values, financial

insecurity, eye trouble, criminal deeds, ill-health in family, litigation regarding
estate, suspension, degradation, loss of service, separation in family, faces
quarrels in his family without any apparent cause, loss of money, no success
in endeavours, ill health to wife, lot of expenditure, poverty, humiliated as this
is the last part of 7 ½ years period of Sade Sati, eye trouble and gathers grey
hair on his head, loss of amassed wealth, resorts to un-moral methods of

IV House : (Not good) Domestic problems, problems on account of house

such as expenditure on repairs, parents ill-health, disagreement with wife,
misery, not good for estate, landed property, vehicles; demotion, problem in
pension, death in family; This is considered a very bad period, known as
Dhaiya, i.e. 2.5 years, suffers due to enemies and diseases, leaves his place of
residence, transferred if in service, trouble during journeys, loses all the
comforts, opposition from the masses and the Govt, becomes crooked and
unscrupulous, rheumatic complaints, loses confidence and develops negative
thinking.

cheating by partners, associates; litigation, suspension in service, failure in
exams, leave his home and travel continuously, may meet an accident while in

renunciation, imprisonment, gambling; Like Saturn in IV, Saturn in VIII is
also a period of Dhaiya (2 ½ years). This is known as Ashtam Saturn and is

does not succeed in spite of spending a slot of money, mentally upset, resides
away from his native place and is opposed by the masses, no cordial relations

XI House : (Good) Gain of wealth, fulfilment of desires, marriage, domestic

happiness, promotion, honour, enjoyment with opposite sex, favour from Govt,

enemies, domestic disharmony, loss of service, foreign travel, death of wife,
physical troubles, hospitalisation, imprisonment, separation, resides away from
his parents and family, expenditure and deterioration of health, trouble for the
children, clouded thoughts, remains worried and indecisive, All the plans fail
due to apprehensiveness, should not fall prey to luring plans laid by others to trap
and destroy him.(This is the last part of 7 ½ years of Saturn)

TRANSIT OF RAHU

Rahu gives the results of the planet conjoined or of the house it is in. Rahu-Ketu
in an Angular House aspected by Lord of a Trine or conjunct with him or in a
Trine House aspected by or conjoined by Lord of an Angular House are prosperity
giving. According to some savants, Rahu acts like Saturn.

Transit of Rahu through

I House : (Not good) Mental peace disturbed, no self-confidence, increase in

work efficiency, encouraged to undertake new jobs, financial gain, gain of wealth
to sons, problem from wife, makes one more materialistic and apprehensive,
gains material comforts accompanied by mental agony, sickness which cannot
be diagnosed, under the influence of black magic, bad for parents, may affect the
health of the native, may get involved in conflicts. He may also have to bear loss
