THEOLOGICAL REFLECTION WORKSHEET

Reflection:

During our evangelization, we conducted therein a bible study as our way of cathecism
focusing on the passage of Matthew 6:26. It is not only them that have learn about this passage
but we are also enlightened on how God works in mysterious ways, a God that looks upon His
creation and beloved children. If He provides foods for the birds that neither reap nor gather
crops into the barns, how much more He will provide to His favourite creation – one that is
created in His likeness and image. For the duration of our evangelization in the Pacquiao family,
I appreciate the value of contentment as can be seen to them on how they interacted with each
other with a wide curve of smile on their faces. Even in the simple things they possess, the
epitome of a happy family cascades in their four-cornered home. I felt inspired and determined in
doing more evangelization to families that are not only in need of physical bread but also to the
bread of life which is Christ and His word. It is like I hear God saying that their family must not
be the only family to be reminded of His words and promises and be quenched in their thirst of
God’s presence and love. I pray that if soon God will use me for a better purpose towards the
needy and the poor in spreading and evangelizing His word, may His will be done. Jehovah
Jireh, the Lord provides.

Personal Prayer:

Almighty God, I know we find it quite easy to worry, but I realise this is a foolishness
and a demonstration of my lack of faith in Your great and precious promises. Thank You for
giving us the example of the little birds who simply rely on Your loving provision and protection
– may I rest in Your love, knowing that you are Jehovah Jireh – The Lord Provides. May You
also provide more on the needs of Your children that is more in need of the daily basic
necessities of life. May Your word will be a forever reminder on the life of the Pacquiao family
that You will provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory as you have provided
you creation that can’t even reap nor gather in the barn, this I ask through the same Christ our
Lord, Amen.
