1. On your own, define Physical Fitness.

Physical fitness is an activity or in other words, is a system composed of physical exercises which
helps an individual to become physically fit. In its simple sense, it is what individuals tend to do
to improve and strengthen their bodies. Meanwhile in its broader sense, it does not only focus
on strengthening one’s physical body but it also build up the body’s skill-related components
which are: coordination, balance, speed, power, and reaction time or reflexes. Physical fitness
refers to the state of health and well-being of an individual—as the other context of the subject.
An individual’s health can also be determined through monitoring his physical ability.

2. What are the benefits of being physically fit?

Benefits of being physically fit are many to mention but to summarize it, here are some: one of
the common benefits of being physically fit is that it plays a sufficient role in building and
maintaining strong muscles and bones. And when it comes to the state of health, it reduces risks
of an individual to heart attack, diabetes, cancer, and other kinds of serious illnesses. Being
physically fit lessens the amount of stress that may occur to an individual and replace it with
happy hormones. More ideally, being physically fit increases energy which is what individuals
need to go through day by day to fully and successfully perform what is need to be done.

3. What is the importance of being physically fit in our daily life? Give an example of activities that
you do in your home.

It is important to take care of our bodies because our bodies are the ones that act for us. Taking
care of oneself is equivalent to loving our own. The importance of being physically fit does not
only end on having a healthy body, but it is about the state of our mental health as well— those
two things are important for it strengthen our whole well-being. What comes with a healthy
state of mind is a healthy physical body, and it explains why being physically fit is important.
One of the activities I do in our home, aside from helping in household chores, is exercising. I do
home exercises every afternoon to be in a healthy state of body and also because it helps me be
more productive.
