Their, They’re, There

Their
Their indicates possession. It shows that something belongs to someone/people or that
something belongs to something.
Examples.
1. This is their house.
2. Have you met their son before?
3. The dogs chewed their bones.

They’re
‘They’re’ is a contraction of they and are. ‘they’ is a pronoun used to refer to many things or
people.
Examples.
1. They’re the best.
2. I am so happy that they’re coming tomorrow.

There
‘There’ refers to a place (it is the opposite of here)
e.g. Please sit over there.
I met him there twice.

‘There’ is also used to introduce a sentence or clause.


Examples:
1. There is no rice today.
2. There will be no late comers tomorrow.
