Morning, afternoon or evening session (5 hrs).
Appleton residents: £8 | Non-residents: £12
Additional donations appreciated
Fuel
Bring your own or fuel is charged at £2.50 a
bucket. Please ensure the fireguard is in place
and you have read the stove instruction book
booklet before using.
Leaving the room
Please leave the room tidy.
Loo
There is no loo at the Reading Room, please let
us know if you want us to arrange use of the
village hall facilities.

When the Reading Room was brought back
from terminal decline we needed help with
things like wiring, flooring, painting, blinds,
joinery, roofing, seating, heavy lifting, fund-
raising and the stove. Thanks for all their work
to Alistair Barker, Anne Taylor, David Hall,
Geoff Hutchinson, Janet Hayton, John and Anne
Creighton, John Marsden, Richard Hardisty, Roy
and John Milestone.
Currently
The reading Room now needs help with the
accounts, fund-raising and repairs. Thanks for
this ongoing assistance to Anne Taylor, Janet 2011 is destined to be an historic
