Crisis Management in Aviation

All manuals with the theme of Crisis Management are unanimous in saying that the aviation
segment is one of the most likely to go through crisis situations.
This is due to the great influence that this sector suffers from several factors such as: climate,
economy, laws and government projects, among others.

One of the definitions that can be used for Crisis Management is "Maintaining the operation with
the minimum possible impacts for the company and its customers".

It is important to remember that crises are situations in which all people are subject to pass, in
the daily operations of an airport, it is possible to consider a crisis as any situation that deviates
from the program, such as: cancellations, delays, alternate flights, closed airports, system
crashes, inoperative radar, among others.

The employee and future Manager in the aviation area must be prepared for these sudden
situations, equipped with action plans that are aligned with the company's values, seeking to
meet the unique expectations of each client.
