Carbon dioxide emission contributes in global warming. The main gases that contribute
to the greenhouse effects are carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide. With the simple use of
electricity, a person is already emitting carbon dioxide which is harmful to the Earth. According
to the data gathered from YCharts, the carbon dioxide emission in the Philippines throughout the
years 2009-2014 is what’s shown above. The carbon dioxide emission increases about 5.4
million every year. With the carbon emissions, the heat from the sun will not be able to escape to
space since the greenhouse gases traps it.
