My IDS project

What did I build?

For my project I decided to build a PC. I choose this because I have always been interested in
Computers. I enjoy doing things like coding so I decided that I should make my own computer. I
took a good amount of research and time but I ended up learning a lot.
What were the parts I used?

Motherboard - MSI B250M Bazooka

CPU - Intel pentium G4560

Ram - Hyperx 8GB DDR4

Power supply - Thermaltake 750 watt

Storage - 1 TB hard drive and a 128GB ssd

Case - Corsair

GPU - Ryzen rx 470 4GB

What does each part do?

CPU - Sends signals to control other parts of the computer

Motherboard - Ties the computer components together and allows them to talk to each other.

Ram - Stores information your computer is currently using

Power supply - Gives power to all the components in the computer

Storage - Used to save your digital data

Case - Used to put all of your components in.

GPU - Rapidly manipulate and alter memory to accelerate the creation of images
What were the steps I used to make the PC?

Step 1 - Installed the CPU into the motherboard

Step 2 - Put the CPU cooling fan on.

Step 3 - Put the graphics card into its slot

Step 4- Put the Ram into its slot.

Step 5 - Screwed the motherboard into place in the case

Step 6 - Put the power supply into the case

Step 7 - Put the SSD and the Hard drive into their place.
Steps continued

Step 8 - plugged all the plugs into the power supply

Step 9 - Did some cable management to make it look neat

Step 10 - closed up the case and screwed its panel back on.
