2 ABOUT THE EXPERION PANEL PC

The Experion Panel PC is a touchscreen device that can be used as

the primary process control interface for your site. It provides a more
intuitive, direct and faster interface than existing devices such as a
mouse and keyboard.
The Experion Panel PC has the following features:

n Can be a standalone Experion Panel PC running Experion PKS

Server and Station that directly communicate to the control
system, or a client node to communicate with an Experion PKS
SCADA Server.
n Provides the flexibility to monitor and control SCADA points
connected to SCADA devices using any supported protocol.
n Alarms can be monitored and resolved on the Experion Panel PC.
n Can be used with a Windows keyboard and mouse. For process
control, the Operator can exclusively use the Experion Panel PC,
however there are some Windows and non-Honeywell application
functions that require a Windows keyboard and mouse.

Experion Panel PC layout

The main display occupies most of the Experion Panel PC window.
The other parts, around the main display, provide you with the tools
and controls you use to monitor and control your system.
