death or injury. Step 2: Left click on the icon to start TransLink
V2.
WARNING
Please also read and follow any on-screen
instructions issued by TransLink V2. Failure
to follow correct procedure could result in
death or injury.

Please note that in order for TransLink

V2 to function correctly the PC must
be connected to the ECU ‘Diagnostics
Plug’ (refer to the machine manual for
location) via the standard
Communications Lead (892/00952).

5. TransLink V2 Overview

frequency in Hertz (Hz). TransLink V2 offers the
user the ability to convert these to relative values

7. Settings & Information Page

When TransLink V2 connects to an ECU it
interrogates the ECU to find out what it is and
how it is setup. This Page basically displays that
information. (Note: if unconnected the unknown
values are labelled appropriately.)

12.Hints & Tips -----===== END OF FILE =====-----

The PSECU Mk4 or 5 has the ability to be
remotely updated, catering for field service
modifications without the need to replace or
remove the ECU from the machine. However this
leads the remote possibility that the ECU label will
not tally with the actual ECU set-up.
Hence, always use TransLink V2 to find out
the actual ECU part number and software
version level.

One of the first checks is to make sure

(a) The correct ECU part number is fitted.
(b) The correct software version is running.
(c) The setting/parameters are correct.
To aid any correspondence the settings can be
saved with 'download setup data from ecu' button.
The file can then be easily attached to an email
for discussion.

When attempting to connect to an ECU,

TransLink V2 will scan all the available
communication ports on the PC. TransLink V2
automatically attempts to scan all ports. For
persistent connection problems please refer to the
accompanying document;
