Production of H2 from Biomass

As we received review Process flow diagram and P&ID of project

from Mr Sachin, to understand the process in simpler way I am
writing this report.

First of all, raw syngas produced via gasification followed by gas

cleaning system passed through Intercooler with blower in which it
gets compressed from atmospheric level to 6.92 bars. Then, syngas is
passed through alkali scrubber in which removes impurities from it
with the help of extraction process. Further syngas passed through
acid scrubber in which removes H2S, HCL such gases from syngas.
The main objective of removing H2S, HCL is such gases are corrosive
in nature which has ability to corrode downstream process.
