Software Update Procedure via USB for MB8x Chassis

1. Please copy below firmware file into the empty & formatted USB flash memory ( to the root, not in a
subfolder)

• upgrade_loader.pkg
2. Turn the power OFF by mechanical switch or unplug AC mains.
3. Plug the USB flash memory to the USB connector
4. Press OK button and turn ON the TV at the same time. Keep OK button pressed on the remote
controller; until stand-by LED blinks rapidly.
5. When the stand-by LED starts to blink rapidly, you can release the OK button.
6. If the LED does not start to bling, you should press the “P+” button on the TV keyboard.
7. Afterwards, software update shall be progressing and st-by LED slowly keeps blinking. This will take
less than 1 minute.
8. When st-by LED blinking fully stops, TV opens it self automatically. We recommend you that, make FTI
(fist Time Installation) the TV by using installation Menu .
9. After FTI menu appears, you should power OFF and ON the TV set.

10. Please check the Version of the TV to confirm the SW upgrade was done succesfull . Software Version
of the TV you will find in user menu ----
“Other settings“ under “Sofware Upgrade” line.

11. Updated software version might be checked also from service menu ( menu --- 4, 7, 2, 5)
