1 Will this still be called an test? No – It will be called a timed alternative assessment but will follow the
same format as an exam/test.
In line with your previous assessments, university regulations will still
apply.
3 How will the assessment be set up? The question paper will be open on Moodle at the allocated time.
To avoid the system being overloaded it is strongly recommended that
you download the paper from Moodle onto your PC.
Students will complete the assessment outside of the Moodle platform and
upload their work at the end time.

All handwritten assessments will need to be combined into one file before

You should download Adobe Scan for mobile (or similar programme) prior
to the assessment if you do not have access to a scanner.
There will be a guidance sheet provided prior to the assessment to help
you prepare.

What happens if I cannot access Moodle If you cannot access Moodle, please contact the MSc Electives team
immediately at msc-electives@city.ac.uk

What happens if I cannot upload my timed If you cannot upload your work to Moodle, please send this as a single file
assessment to Moodle attachment to the MSc electives Team at msc-electives@city.ac.uk.
Please ensure you have attached the front cover sheet.
All work submitted via email will be timestamped and you will receive a
confirmation receipt from the electives team.
