Kahlimat Poetry Club is an open art space to showcase art, poetry, and spoken word. Kahlimat is rooted
in the belief that literature is vital to creating and sustaining a vibrant culture.

This letter is to serve as an expression of our profound gratitude to the constant support of your esteem
management that helped us grow. We hold one spoken word poetry session on Thursday every two
weeks from 4pm to 6pm.

We are aiming at creating a positive and productive atmosphere for the development of professional
writers and poets. Kahlimat Poetry Club will provide a platform and give access to literature books and
poetry collections that will help its members and those in schools to realize and unlock their full
intellectual potentials.

What we do is that we; read poetry, watch and enjoy spoken poetry performances of other poets
around the world, write our own poetry, perform our poems for each other and larger audiences, and
learn from one another.

Through these activities within the club, we were able to share our life stories and know one another
even better. We are a community built on the principle of mutual respect; we do not entertain tribalism,
sexism, racism etc. we are open to learn from one another regardless of age; each one teach one.

Our needs from your organization remains the same; the space, chairs and the sound system. We
thanked you once more.
