How has life changed after getting a job in ONGC through the GATE?

Yes! Life did change after joining ONGC.

1. Before joining ONGC,my father had to work very hard in a Distillery Factory for just 10k rs. And me and my siblings had to work hard
in our studies. Now my father is retired,he just roam in his motorcycle (his dream that was not fulfilled due to our responsibilities) and I
feel happy seeing him like this.
2. We(whole family) used to live in a rented leaking house with single bedroom in Basti(a district in East UP). Now we live in Lucknow
in our own house.
3. We were not having even a bicycle at that time. Now we have a car,a bike & planning to purchase another bike for my brother.
4. I used to be very thin(just 52kg) even after trying to gain the weight. Now I am trying to loose weight because it has reached to
80kg.
5. I hadn't seen a AC coach in train from inside. Now it is normal. Flights are also usual now.
6. 5 star hotels were dream back then,now all that dream is fulfilled.
7. I had to live in different cities for study. But now I spend my 14 days off time with my parents.
8. Back then parents were fulfilling our dreams. Now I am fulfilling theirs.
9. Now society doesn't ask stupid & irritating questions regarding studies,job etc.
10. I hadn't admit about having a girlfriend to my parents. But now they all know and our marriage is scheduled in Feb,2019.
