* This is firmware release and boot code for the Dell X1000 Series switches.

* This firmware is transferable to the switch via a HTTP or TFTP server.

* Please read the X1000 Series Software Update Instructions for GUI pdf file in the
FW Release zip file for further information.

NOTE: Dell recommends checking http://www.dell.com/support for latest FW updates.

NOTE: Please follow software update instructions included in the zip file,"X1000
Series Software Update Instructions for GUI" or "X1000 Series Software Update
Instructions".

NOTE: The firmware may be upgraded using the web user interface via HTTP or TFTP
server.
When using a telnet session or web interface, the connection to the switch is not
available until the switch has entered forwarding mode. This takes approximately
three minutes from a power-up reset.

NOTE: X1000 Series switches use micro USB for console connectivity. Windows WHQL
drivers for the FTDI USB device are included in the MicroUSB-
FTDI2.12.00WindowsDrivers.zip file.
