(Surface water, Ground water, Rainfall Catchment)

Surface Water
Surface water is water located on top of the Earth's surface such as rivers,
creeks, and wetlands. This may also be referred to as blue water. The vast
majority is produced by precipitation and water runoff from nearby areas

Ground Water

Groundwater is the water present beneath Earth's surface in soil pore spaces
and in the fractures of rock formations. A unit of rock or an unconsolidated
deposit is called an aquifer when it can yield a usable quantity of water
Rainfall Catchment

Is an area where water is collected by the natural landscape. Rain falling outside

the edge of one catchment is falling on a different catchment, and will flow into
other creeks and rivers. Some water also seeps below ground where it is stored
in the soil or in the space between rocks.
