Who is the enemy?

Patriotism is dead. Our country’s history foretold the phenomena it undergone. These
events can be synonymous with multiple man having intercourse with a single woman, in the urban
dictionary it can be called gang bang. Philippines was the woman and the Spanish, United States
of America, and Japan were the men who intercourse our mother land. Before were colonized by
these countries, we already have a rich and diverse culture in different regions. And after the
colonization, we have enriched our intellects to a well-formed system of government and
education. However, we had forgotten our origin and nature. In our written history there were
triumphant battle and devasting ending. The triumphant battle resulted the lands we won against
these foreign invaders. The devasting ending as we won, and the war grew harder; we need to
devise our plan. Hence, few inside jobs were done. Fights among fellow Filipino leaders and
treasons were handed. These were presented to governed peace, but these leaders abuse their power
and authority.
We all want to be secure. The Philippine National Police Data reported the crime rate
decreased by 21.48% from July 2016 to June 2018. This report was countered with an increased
rate in murder by 1.50%. The current president aims to abolish war on drugs, lower crime rates,
and to acquire security for each Filipino. He fully aims that the Philippines will be a crime-free
country. Various News Outlet reported numerous cases regarding the Philippines’s war on drugs.
The PhilStar Global (2017) reported there were 16,355 “homicide cases” as the Malacañang
released. The Aljazeera (2018) tallied 118,287 and 1,308,078 drug personalities and authorities
that surrendered were arrested, respectively. Every measure was being implemented to comply
with the president’s vision. Even crossing the boundary of one’s human rights. They were being
killed or arrested without proper legal jurisdiction. False accused will be set guilty without enough
evidence and appropriate jurisdiction and adding his or her human rights are being violated. We
are just repeating history. A form of blind terrorism. We viewed terrorism as a threat from a
foreign, but we didn’t see it within us. A terrorism brought by the ones who are in power and
authority. Do we have the power to fight?
Sovereignty in our lands had been issued against china. A battle is being sprung. According
to United Nations 1982 Convention of the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) we have the claim of
Scarborough shoal or Panatag and it is under the exclusive economic zone. China claims its rights

Experts from china clearly stated its claim by these dashed lines and does not provide further
explanations. Clearly, we have the right to claim according to the law, but china insists they are
the rightful owner. Nonetheless, the people who have the power and authority does not seem
fighting for our claim and just forfeiting.
