For the past five years, [have been her administrator/evaluator at Newfield School. Currently Mrs. Cody serves as the K-2 Instructional Support Teacher in the building. I have observed her with both student and adult Jeamers. She is a well-respected coach and teacher who engages students in active learning. She is committed to sharing her knowledge, resources and experiences as they relate to literacy and Common Core State Standards. She is an effective communicator and team player, Mrs. Cody demonstrates leadership in our school community. In addition to her coaching role, she serves as a member of our School Data Team. Mrs. Cody also co-chairs our School Governance Council and is a TEAM Mentor. She co-facilitates all Grade Level IDTs and accesses and analyzes student data in order to plan effective instruction. Mrs. Cody has also co-facilitated numerous family literacy events and provided building and district professional development workshops to staff. Mrs. Cody is always willing to go “above and beyond” to assist with any needed aspects of the school. She has a positive rapport with students, staff and families. Mrs. Cody is articulate, collaborative and a consummate professional I recommend Lisa Cody for any educational or administrative position she chooses to pursue. She will be a positive contributor and an asset to any school community. I wish her well in all fature endeavors. Sincerely,
