The cable is designed to be used in Fiber-To-
The-Home (FTTH) applications. It is to be LSFH Sheath
installed internally in the riser rooms. The cable Green Brown Aramid Yam
is designed in such a way that when it is
unsheathed on a floor, a particular sub-unit can
be pulled out from the cable and it is able to be Red White
spliced to the Fiber DP (a splicing box) on that Violet Ripcord
floor. In other words, the fiber cable is
constructed to allow mid-span access without LSFH
terminating the cable.
