INT.TENSE.RADIO ROOM.MORNING

Lon
“Hey! Hey! Wait come back. When will you let us out! Why are we here, please! We’ve been
locked in here all day. Don’t go, don’t go. Tell me how long. How long? Prick! I’ll kill you! I’m
sorry, please just, tell me how long. Tell me! Don’t leave us here!”

Ali
“What’s the plan?”

Brad
“I don’t know… we don’t have any answers.”

Ali
“Anyone know why we’re here?”

Brad
“I think we are here for a reason.”

Lara
“In movies, the reason people are trapped in a room by force is that we’ve done something
wrong. Like Saw, The Cube, stuff like that.”

Lon
“Whatever it is, I want out.”

Mike
“Same, none of these computers work except that one.”

Brad

“What does the computer do?”

Ali

“It’s just doing this. It doesn’t do anything else except say vote.”
 Brad

“Vote on what?”

Mike

“I don’t know, it says we vote on a person and something happens, seems simple enough.”

Ali

“Should we do it?”

Brad

“I don’t know.”

SCENE 2
INT.TENSE.RADIO ROOM.EVENING

Lon
“Hey, you doing okay?”

Brad
“I should be asking you that, you got hit pretty hard by that guy.”

Lon
“Yeah… but I feel fine.”

Brad
“Have any ideas on how to get out?”

Lon
“No. I’m wondering about what I’m going to do when I get out.”
 Brad
“Same. I’m wondering if I did something to be put in here.”

Lara
“Maybe a certain someone shouldn’t have stolen cigarettes and Juul’s.”

Ali
“You just received a vote from me, Lara.”

Lara
“Cindy might still be mad I stole her Crayola’s”

Brad
“I treated Lon pretty badly… I used to be pretty homophobic.”

Lon
“Guess I was too taboo for you..”

Brad
“Bla bla bla, I get it. I was a prick.”

Lon
“You haven’t changed since middle school.”

Brad
“You’re still the goofy nerd I remember.”

Lon
“I want you to know that… I like you like really really like you.”

Brad
“Really?”

Lon
“Yeah, I’m glad I have you as a friend.”

ANNOUNCEMENT
“Results are in and verified.”
 Lara
“Guess, we see what the voting does now.”

Lon
“I hope I win a $25 gift card.”

ANNOUNCEMENT
“Lon is to be executed. Please step out of the room.”

Lon
“Oh… I… you guys voted for me?”

Brad
“This has to be a joke. Right?”

Lon
“I guess beggars can be choosers… I guess it was inevitable.”

ANNOUNCEMENT
“Internal bomb will detonate in 30 seconds.”

Lon
“I better go. I wish you guys the best. I hope my death helps you escape.”

Brad
“No…”
Lon steps out into the hallway and explosion can be heard and Lon hitting the floor and the
barks of dogs then him screaming and sounds of being ripped apart.
SCENE 3
INT.TENSE.RADIO ROOM.NIGHT

Ali
“Brad. Come one get up.”

Mike
“Ali leave him alone. He’s grieving.”
 Ali
“But… fine.”

Mike
“Guys I have a question, are you guys ready to die?”

Ali
“No. I don’t want to die.”

Brad
“I don’t know. Maybe finally sleeping forever will be better than being trapped in here.”

Ali
“I think God will help us. Or we can get out.”

Mike
“Well waiting for God's secretary is taking too long. We need something to happen now.”

Lara
“What if we never get out?”

Brad
“Then we’ll die in here.”

SCENE 4
INT.TENSE.RADIO ROOM.MORNING

Lara
“I’ve almost got it. Just a bit more.”

Mike
“Come on, I’m hungry I could eat someone right now.”

Lara
“Stop rushing me. Yes! I got it.”

Mike
 “Guys she got it open.”

Lara
“We should make a break for it.”

Brad
“Don’t you’ll probably get killed.”

Lara
“One of us has to go.”

Mike
“I’m going. I can’t stay here any longer.”

Ali
“Hurry!”

Mike head out into the hallway Mike keeps going and then explodes and dies.

SCENE 5
INT.TENSE.RADIO ROOM.EVENING

Brad
“How long has it been?”

Lara
“About 3 days… I’m so hungry…”

Ali
“I can’t… I can’t do this anymore.”

Lara
“What?”

Ali
“I can’t stand being here anymore! Just vote for me. I’d rather die than be trapped in here any
longer… I can’t take this.”
 Brad
“Ali…”

Ali
“I’m sorry, but I can’t take this. Just do it…”

ANNOUNCEMENT
“Ali is to be executed.”

Ali starts to gasp and cough as she starts to die and heads out the door.

SCENE 6
INT.TENSE.RADIO ROOM.MORNING
Lara
“Brad… why’d you do it?”

Brad
“Do what?”

Lara
“Vote for Lon…”

Brad
“I was just using him to keep myself from getting voted.”

Lara
“Do you even regret it? After being friends for so long?”

Brad
“I do… I was scared, I thought he was still mad after all these years.”

Lara
“So what now?”

Brad
“We either vote… or stay trapped.”
 Lara
“What do you prefer?”

Brad
“I don’t know?”

Lara
“I don’t wanna die Brad.”

Brad
“Let’s vote for me....”

Lara
“Thank you, Brad.”

Brad
“I’m scared, Lara...”

Lara
“Don’t worry I’ve got you, just close your eyes and-”

Brad explodes blood getting everywhere. Lara gets thrown back and hits her head. Breaking her
neck. She is paralyzed and is moaning and groaning on the floor. It switches to later where she is
getting interviewed about winning the voting.

FADE TO BLACK
