The International Cement Production Seminar gives
­participants the knowledge and skills needed to optimize
your cement production. Our goal is to establish a forum
in which global cement specialists can benefit from the
exchange of ideas.

Learning objectives Seminar plan

The learning objective is to enable participants to optimize
the cement manufacturing process step by step throughout
the factory.
The knowledge, skills and experience gained at the
­seminar will:
The seminar consists of 5 days of specialist lectures at our
headquarter in Copenhagen.
Furthermore, a 2 days site visit with focus on Alternative
Fuels is included. The International Cement Production
Seminar consists of more than 20 lectures, a site visit,
group work and exercises.

• Inspire new ideas for optimizing your plant operation
• Present potential upgrading of your equipment
• Present potential modernization of your equipment
• Create a valuable network for future knowledge-sharing
among the participants
The seminar consists of the following three topics:
1) Grinding technologies and raw material handling
2) Cement quality and the factors influencing the quality
3) Pyro process and the inherent processes related to the
environment and alternative fuels

Target group
This seminar is designed for production managers, plant
managers, general managers and production engineers
with at least one years’ experience in the cement industry.

Location
The seminar takes place at the FLSmidth headquarters
in Copenhagen, Denmark. Furthermore, we will invite the
participants to visit a European plant.

Each day is from 8.30-17.
