Write a title for your play

Season 3. Ep 4. Mrs Colourful is not so Colourful

Your puppet will be your main character. Draw and describe 4 other
characters who will be in your play.

Black is called like that because he
is black, wears black clothes and
he likes black. His favourite
discussion is about black because
he really believes black is a colour.
Usually, he is naughty and gets his
sister in trouble.
White is Black’s twin and she is
called like that because she is
white, even her hair is white
(even though she is not old) and
she wears white clothes. She is
a tell-tale person and also, she is
very kind and sweet with her
parents, but not with Black.

Mrs Colourful is called like that

because she has very colourful
Mr Grey is Mrs Colourful’s
hair and even her body is
husband, he has grey hair and he
colourful. She is kind and polite,
always wears grey clothes. He has
she speaks nicely to others. Her
panics about everything.
voice is a bit squeaky, but other
people still can understand her.

Set the scene. Use your setting description writing to describe the
opening scene in 2 sentences.

Today the tower setting will change between the house of the
famous characters and the forest, because all the adventure will
happen in those two places. Their small house is in the enchanted
forest and they easily have access to it.

Start the play by describing the beginning of the story.

Narrator: We welcome everyone into another adventure with the

famous characters Mrs Colourful, her husband and their children.
It is Friday evening and everyone goes to bed. At least the parents
thought that.

Scene 1. Beginning

Character Dialogue
Black Hey White, are you awake?
White (sleepy Hmm. . . no really. What do you want, now?
voice)
Black I cannot sleep and I have a mischief idea… to go
in our parents’ room and to…White? White?
Narrator White was already fast asleep.

Black (dark voice) Doesn’t matter. I will do it on my own.

Narrator Black tip toed down stairs….outside into the
shed… took some black paint…
Black (thinking If I use black paint, they will know I was the one
voice) that did it.
Narrator He put back the black paint and took the white
paint. He tip toed into his parents’ room and he

splashes the white paint in his mother’s hair.

Describe what happens at the start of scene 2.

Narrator: When it turned early in the morning, a scream came from

the parents’ room.

Scene 2 Middle

Character Dialogue
Mr Grey (high Aaa… What on earth happened to you?
pitched voice)
Narrator Black and White hurry to the parents’ room.
Black (pretending It is white…your hair is white!

Mr Grey (panic I can’t believe you turn so old in only one night.
voice)
Narrator Mrs Colourful jumped from her bed in front of
the mirror.
Mrs Colourful Oo… one of you thinks this is funny, don’t you?
(cheeky voice) Black, do you think this is funny?
Black (blushing) Meee?... why mee?
Mrs Colourful It is obvious that somebody painted my hair
while I was sleeping….and…
Black And your hair is white. White did it!
White (shocked) Me?
Mr Gray (shouty White! Black would have chosen the black paint.
voice) He always uses the black colour.

White (sure But this is all part of his plan. Last night he…

Mrs Colourful I thing is funny, too, but… I liked my colourful

White We will have plenty of time to go in the forest
today and to make the paints.

Narrator: They all set off to go in the forest.

Scene 3. Ending

Mrs Colourful Look there! Some blueberries.
White Let’s pick up some and we will make blue paint.
Mr Gray Let’s eat some, too.

Everyone laughs
Narrator They found some gooseberries for their yellow
paint and they return home happily.

They start to dye Mrs Colourful’s hair with the

berries that they had picked.

Mrs Colourful started to look again…. like Mrs

Colourful…. And she likes that.
