DESCRIBING YOUR OCCUPATION AND YOUR DUTIES AT WORK

I’m a quality assistant in a company called Jumbo Cencosud, in the company the sale of

perishable and non- foods is carried out, my function is to verify that all the products for

sale comply with the organoleptic characteristics established in the quality standards in

order to guarantee a quality product for the consumer, another function that I have is to

verify that the rotation is fulfilled, identifying that the first thing that enters is the first to

leave.

It is verified that the refrigeration and the freezing refrigerators are within the temperature

range established by the standard, in the event that any irregularity occurs, the maintenance

department must be informed for its immediate verification since it cannot be lost. cold

DESCRIBING THE PLACE OF WORK.

In 1978, Cencosud inaugurated the country's first jumbo hypermarket and in subsequent

years expanded its line of supermarkets and shopping centers. Thereafter, Cencosud began

to expand to Peru, Colombia and Brazil, becoming one of the largest retail chains in all of

Latin America.

Cencosud stores total more than 3.1 million square meters and 41% of Cencosud's income

comes from Chile, with 29% from Argentina, 21% from Brazil, 8% from Peru and 1% from

Colombia.

In 2006 Cencosud began to build Costanera Center, which is a five-level shopping center,

two office buildings, two hotels and more than 4,500 parking lots. This shopping center

was opened in June 2012. It is the largest real estate project in South America.

Cencosud is a company with diversified businesses and a greater offer of square meters,

since they additionally develop other business lines that complement the central operation.

Cencosud's business units are: waterfront center, department stores, supermarkets, home
 improvement and construction, financial

retail and shopping center.

DESCRIBING REASONS FOR HAVING THIS OCCUPATION

The main reason for having this occupation is because it's very important that a company

has a quality assistant, because the quality control assistant is the person responsible for the

organizations to enforce all the procedures of the quality system, and controls that all its

products and services comply with the quality problems and also a quality product for the

consumer.

To carry out the quality control of a product, it's very important that the quality control

assistant has direct knowledge of the product and the current regulations that include the

minimum quality content and applicable quality management.

For these reasons, Jumbo Cencosud offers to their clients and the public the best quality in

its categories. As they have assistants in quality control.

DESCRIBING YOUR SKILLS AND WEAKNESSES.

I think that to achieve success in life you have to be clear what we want to achieve, I’m a

very responsible, collaborative, creative, tolerant person, I like to work as a team, I'm a

person who assimilates changes quickly, I like to help people, being honest is the virtue that

has caused me the most problems, But it's my way of being of my weaknesses, we can say

that there are not many but that I must also know how to handle in order to improve, I am

quite perfectionist, I demand too much, I don’t like double morals, I don’t like to be

wrong, I’m unpunctual person on from time to time.

We must be clear that, ‘cause we are human and imperfect beings, we all have our

weaknesses and strengths, the important thing is to know how to manage them at all times,

with our family, friends, co-workers, classes and people in general.

ANSWER TO THE QUESTION: IF YOU COULD DO ANY KIND OF JOB, WHAT

WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE?

If I had the possibility to choose the job that I would like to do, I would choose to be a

psychologist.

Psychology is understood as a study of the soul and the mind, it allows us to understand

how people behave and think.

Psychology is everything, because the mind is everything in our life. Everything goes

through our brain before we can be aware of it and we need it to carry out many tasks in our

daily lives.

Psychology is an exciting profession and by studying it you learn many fascinating things

about ourselves.

Why do we behave in certain ways in some situations? What is the power of emotions in

our behavior? What is personality or the influence of culture on our way of thinking? The
 psychology don't only helps us to

understand ourselves better, but thanks to subjects such as social or group psychology, we

can know more about the interaction with other people and learn to communicate with

others. People are social beings with healthy interpersonal relationships has a positive

effect on our well-being.

Although people are unaware of this profession and associate it only with mental disorders,

this discipline touches on many more topics that can help us understand ourselves better,

not only from an individual point of view, but also social and group.

It is a profession that, among many alternatives, has a healthcare function either as a

clinical psychologist or as a social psychologist, it is possible to help many people.

This is why I would like to work as a psychologist, because helping other people is very

rewarding, it is something that comes from within yourself and there is no greater

retribution than feeling that the

other person has improved their

quality of life thanks to

psychology.
