 1. Definition
AVF250 series is a flowmeter commonly used in auto-industry process control. It is
with small volume, wide range and easily operation. It could also measure liquid,
gas and steam flowrate, especially fit for small flowrate application.

2. Measuring Principle
In measured pipe, varying with flowrate, AVF250 float will move up and the buoyancy
of float and gravity of float will reach balance at a certain palce. At the moment, the
circulation ringgap area, between float and pore plate(or spinal canal), keeps a
certain condition. The circulation ringgap area is in proportion to the lifting height of
float, namely, the rising position of float in measured pipe stands for flowrate and
inside magnet transfers the position of changed float to external indicator, which
accurately displays the current flowrate.

4. Specification

• With double-line display, AVF250 can simultaneously show both flowrate

and totalizer. The range of displayed flowrate is 0-50000, totalizer range is
0-99999999, and the operational size is DN15 ~ DN200.
• During operation, LCD screen is Plug and Play support, which will not
affect meter operation; During electrically charged plug and play, LCD
screen will automatically update; If take off LC, meter still can work.
• AVF250 can be battery supply feed.
• With aluminum housing, its protection class reaches IP65, which can be
used in open applications.
• AVF250 has two kinds of protection classes:
A: Intrinsically Safe: ExiaIICT5
B: Explosion-proof Type: ExdIIBT6, which can be used in oil, chemical
industry or other inflammable and explosive places.
• Measured Temperature: - 80 ~ 400 Deg.C
