I choose Biomedical Environmental Biology as I am really interested on partaking subjects that
will explore the wildlife in our country. One of the main reasons I took Biology as my undergraduate course is the ability to observe and study flora and fauna firsthand. Hopefully by 10 years I am a physician then, after finishing my undergraduate course. However, I am not closing my doors on having a career in biodiversity research if better opportunities arose. In the time of pandemic, the connection between human and environmental health can be looked upon especially in finding the vaccine for COVID-19. As a graduate of Biomedical Environmental Biology Track, I can help the country by examining the effects of environmental substances to living organisms or conducting environmental impact assessment on development projects. Philippine biodiversity is very rich and we are just on the tip of the iceberg when it comes to identifying and monitoring environmental conditions.
