Similarities between dolphins and humans

While dolphins and humans are different in some ways, the both are similar in
terms of communication and recognition. Scientists have discovered that dolphins
have their own language and communication system, similar to the human system.
This language is based in different kind of sounds like shrieks, warbles and growls.
The communication continuity and the shifts they take to emit a sound are similar to
the normal act of talk in the humans. This sounds allow to dolphins to know who is
talking, hear them and speak when they have to. Likewise, in the human
communication, we have two roles; the transmitter, is the subject who talks, and the
receiver hears and waits its turn. Also, the investigations lead to the discover
of dolphin's own recognition system, getting another common factor with humans.
This recognition system, initiates in the first two months of dolphin’s life, they must
choose their own identification whistle, called signature whistle, this sound needs to
be unique to ease the recognition for all dolphin’s in the group. Likewise, the
humans have their own’s name, obtained from birth and for which it is called by all
its social environment making recognition and subsequent integration into society
much effective.
