Pressure Ratings
PE80 WavinSure systems have
a minimum required strength
(MRS) at 50 years of 8Mpa
and can be used upto a
maximum pressure of 12.5
bar. PE100 Wavin SupaSure
systems have a MRS at 50
years of 10Mpa and can be
used upto a maximum
pressure of 16 bar.

There is no de-rating for any
pipe size listed in the
specification for PE100
materials meeting the
requirements of WIS 4-32-13
For PE80 materials, de-rating
is applicable for larger
diameter systems. For further

WavinSure
WavinSure PE80 medium
density polyethylene pipes
and fittings provide a
comprehensive water
distribution system in sizes
20mm - 1000mm for use at
pressures up to a maximum
of 12.5 bar.
The proven benefits of a
lightweight, corrosion
resistant, flexible pipe
system has resulted in
polyethylene being the major
pipe choice for distribution
systems in the service and
mains sizes. The introduction
of new pipe diameters and
thin wall pipes has allowed
polyethylene to be used for an
increasing array of no -dig
rehabilitation techniques.
Wavin SupaSure
Wavin SupaSure pipes and
fittings are manufactured from
PE100 high performance
polyethylene for use at
pressures upto 16 bar, and in
sizes 90mm - 1000mm.
PE100 polyethylene gives
excellent resistance to rapid
crack propagation and slow
crack growth.
