TOUR OF THE GUAJIRA

(4 Nights 5 Days)

This tour is designed to visit the main tourist destinations in La Guajira such as Mayapo, Cabo de la
Vela and Palomino beaches. You will be able to experience the diversity of ecosystems found in
the department, we went from the desert of Cabo de la Vela to the green of the Sierra Nevada de
Santa Marta. We will also visit a Wayuu family where we can learn about the culture and traditions
of this indigenous group.

Day 1. Riohacha - Mayapo Beaches - Riohacha

Reception at Almirante Padilla Airport, Transfer to one of the most beautiful beaches of the
department, Mayapo, where we will enjoy an afternoon at the beach. Lunch.

Return to Riohacha. Check in at the selected hotel. Dinner and lodging.

Day two. Riohacha - Cabo de la Vela

Breakfast at the hotel. We start our journey towards Cabo de la Vela, on the way we will stop in
the municipality of Uribia, considered the indigenous municipality of Colombia.

We continue to Cabo de la Vela. Lunch. In the afternoon we move to the beaches of Ojo de Agua.
In the twilight of the day, we will reach the viewpoint of El Faro, where we will witness a beautiful
guajiro sunset. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Sailing Cape - Manaure - Riohacha

Breakfast. On this new day we will visit the mythological beaches of Pilón de Azúcar where we will
enjoy a morning of sun and beach. The turn now to visit is the municipality of Manaure where we
will learn about the process of extracting salt by hand.

In the afternoon we will go out to a ranch where we will meet to learn to listen to the sounds of
the wind, to know its myths, its legends; to eat its food, to appreciate its crafts, to learn to
distinguish the different weaves.with one of the indigenous cultures but important of the country,
the Wayuu, where we will share with them, we will know its culture, its traditions and we will
taste of its gastronomy.

Transfer to Riohacha, dinner and accommodation.

Day 4. Riohacha - Palomino - Riohacha

This day we will visit one of the most popular beaches in the country, Palomino, located at the foot
of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. There we will carry out the activity of Tubing that consists of
a walk of 30 minutes up the mountain, until arriving at a point where in tires we move by the river
until arriving at mouth. Lunch.

Option 2: Visit to the facilities of a hotel, where we can make use of these (swimming pool, beach
chairs, hammocks, etc)

Transfer to Riohacha. Accommodation

Day five. Riohacha

Breakfast. free day to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Riohacha and the beautiful wayuu crafts.
