Do you believe that customer service in the retailing is improving or declining in

Colombia? Why?
To start I want to give the definition of customer service and retail. The first concept, from
my point of view and the reading, refers to all the management that generates who or who
offer products and services for those who need it. The second concept is defined according
to the RAE: "Commercial activity consisting of the retail sale of items to their final
recipients." Having in mind the meaning of the concepts, now, it will be easier to answer
the question.
In my opinion, customer service by retail has been improving in Colombia since now the
means of negotiation are more extensive, so much so that many are already projected
internationally thanks to the networks and their impact. In addition to having changed
customer service as it is traditionally known.
In this way, the competition in the market, currently, of any product or service means that it
must improve not only what it adds to but also the way in which it trades. That is, they must
offer good quality products, at an affordable price for the public and also, those who afflict
it must meet the various qualities that are needed in someone who works serving the
market, as kindness, respect, concern, authenticity among others.
In recent years it has been seen how different supermarket chains have begun to establish or
train in our country. The fact that confirms the fact that this retail trade increases in
Colombia is determined by the ministry of commerce, industry and tourism, the ministry
that has been promoting different industries (for example the dairy) for the strengthening of
this type of retail trade, through the delivery of credits that allows them to start their own
businesses. What brings us to the previous point and is to create more opportunities in the
market, so that both customers and producers benefit.
As a closing, it can be said that companies already have that customer service included as
one of the most important points in what they offer, since that is where the company's
success comes from. The road is still long, Colombia must continue working on the issue of
consumer confidence, but the work done is going well.
