Mission Control Mobile Entry Point

Datasheet
The Mission Control Mobile Entry Point service provides secure remote access for mobile
users. Connected users can surf the internet while being protected by the Mission Control
Web Proxy service, or access corporate resources in the company network.

The service offers the following features:

• Software client for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux

• Mobile client for iOS and Android

• Secure tunneling through latest TLS protocols

• DTLS provides an optimized connection for latency-sensitive traffic (e.g. VoIP)

• Multiple authentication mechanisms:

• Username/password validation*

• Hardware or software token authentication*

• SMS authentication*

• Client certificate authentication for users*

• Client certificate authentication for devices

• Mutually authenticated TLS connections using X.509 certificates

• Software or hardware keystore supported

• Customer-managed certificate authority (CA)

• Revocation checks

• Flexible user group assignment and certificate requirement definition

• Trusted network detection

• Enforced secure connection

• Captive portal remediation

• GeoIP-based selection of the closest Mobile Entry Point **

Mobile Web Security


• Protect mobile users through the Mission Control Web Proxy

• Requires Mission Control Web Proxy enforcement point on same shared platform

• Enforced proxy protection

Corporate Access
• Secure and restrictable access to network resources for remote clients

• Requires volume-based Corporate Access User licenses

• Flexible user and group management with Mission Control Identity Server

• IP address allocation from address pools

• Static or dynamic routing

• Connections through web proxies or Network Address Translation are supported
