Insights on Practo:
- Operating in European, Latin American, Middle East and Asian markets having a
predominant presence in India and Singapore. No presence noted in Australian and NZ
market.
- Potential competitors in India : Lybrate, Docprime, Mocdoc, 1mg, NetMeds
- Owns two companies that makes customized management/integration tools for health
care industry.
- Has a patient-centric approach and focuses more on Practo and Practo Pro apps for
Indian markets.
- Does not have a stronghold on clinic/hospital management tools in Indian market.
However, has a presence in European, Middle East and few Asian markets.
- Does implement some AI concepts for automation, insight graphs, predictive sheets and
rating algorithms. Their description on Imaging analytics is a tad bit similar to our ideas.
- No usage of AR concepts found.
- No extensive implementation of AI concepts found on connectivity apps similar to our
ideas.
- Uses AWS to store all the encrypted data. Does not use any third-party information on

Potentials for TasqCare :

- Implementing ML/AR concepts only could turn out to be the USP and potentially stand
out in the Indian Markets. Australian Markets are unexplored and could be a potential start.
- Indian market doesn’t have a major player in terms of management tools. Regional
companies cater to the clinics/hospitals. However, products like Querent could stand for a
strong competition in near future.
- Practo’s model on splitting the products into multiple instead of packaging it as one
should be studied further. Clinics and hospital are likely to prefer and pick apps based on
their needs.
- Splitting the products might help us target audiences. Hospitals and doctors in tier 2
and tier 3 cities might take time understanding and using the AI concepts.
