Dear Parents,

Greetings from the Orbis School!

You are aware that the operation of the Schools have been suspended due to COVID-19 as per the
direction of Governments of India and Maharashtra.

The Government of Maharashtra has still not allowed all the schools to function as per the regular
routine.

Schools have taken extraordinary steps to impart online education. Our teachers have done a
commendable job in conducting live classes and also in preparing educational aids such as videos,
powerpoint presentations and worksheets and all these valuable teaching aids have been uploaded
through integrated software, thereby our children can access these in the safety of their homes. We
are happy that our dear students have eagerly and enthusiastically assimilated to the online learning.
We are also pleased that all our parents have consented to the online classes and continue their
support to the online classes.

Further, parents may note that we have taken extensive steps to impart online education to avoid loss
of education and engaging the children in educational learning so that the children are also engaged at
home in productive learning activity. Needless to say, the school shall stand strong in performing its
most noble task, which is enhancing and enriching the minds of our students with constructive learning
to maintain the sanctity of the education profession at large.

There has been a common misconception that the State Government has banned online classes for
Pre-Primary and standards I and 2 and regulated the timings of online classes for standards 3 and
above, vide their circular dated 15-06-2020. It may be noted that this circular is not a Government
Order, but it is only a guideline and advisory circulated.

In deference to the same and to help the school in its efforts to continuously improve the
dissemination of teaching via the online/ digital mode so that the students imbibe the maximum
learning therefrom, we request you to spare some time to help us understand the delivery by filling up
this Google form https://forms.gle/DP8U6LQhz86jgCAR6

In the meanwhile, the online classes will resume as per the earlier timetable (8th June onwards) for the
whole school with effect from Monday, 22nd June 2020. Once the data from the Google forms is
analysed we would make appropriate changes. Do help us to better the teaching learning at the Orbis.
