A B.Tech second-year student committed suicide in Greater Noida on Thursday

night. According to the police, Puri Gupta (22), hanged herself at her house.

In another case, a woman committed suicide by jumping off the 10th floor of
Bhagirathi Apartments in Vaishali of Ghaziabad on Friday at around 11.45 am.

According to the police, 26year-old Sakshi Maheswari, originally from Kasganj

district in UP, had just completed her MBA degree at a private institute in
Noida.

"She was living in a rented place in Vaishali. She went to a secluded corner of
the building on the 10th floor and jumped off," a police official said.
