Everything you need to know to begin your padlet journey.

Congratulations! You've signed up for Make a padlet


Padlet, the easiest way to create and
collaborate in the world.

*Note:* you don't need an account to


make a padlet.
You can always go to https://padlet.com/create. You'll have
to save the link somewhere to access this padlet again. 

Creating your padlet ...


Start from the dashboard. PADLE T

Dashboard is the rst screen you see after sign in. 

It has:
A feed of recent updates to your padlets [Home
screen] Design your padlet.
A list of all padlets that you have made, liked and
Change the title, wallpaper, layout, and other appearance
contributed to [Padlets]
settings in the Modify (⚙) menu.
Files you have uploaded [Attachments]
A list of people you have worked with [Collaborators]
Your username, email, and password, which you can
update at any time [Settings].

You can always return to the dashboard via the Padlet

Add contributors, or go it alone. and Can Write (the default settings), anyone with the link
will be able to view and post to your padlet. 
The Share menu (top right) may look complex at rst. We
provide lots of options so you can make content as public or On mobile, nd the link/QR code in the export menu,
as private as you want.

Privacy: 
Choose from 4 standard options: Private, Password
Protected, Secret [default], and Public. Learn more
about those below.
Choose whether people can read, write [default],
moderate, or administer your padlet.

Add contributors: 
If you want to add others manually, you can enter
their emails or usernames and adjust individual
Post to your padlet
permissions. When you hover over the big plus button at the bottom of
your padlet, you'll see this. Go on and click!
Advanced: 
Turn off remakes if you don't want others to copy
your padlet to use as a template. 
Turn on moderation so that you can approve posts
before they appear.

Write whatever you wish, add any le


type
Start with a simple text post. Format your text into
paragraphs or lists, and add links. The bottom icons indicate
attachments. You can attach everything from an Excel
spreadsheet to a Spotify playlist. 

Post attachments will be shown as a preview image with a


short description.
Share the link.
You can always share your padlet by simply copy/pasting
the link in your address bar. If your privacy is set to Secret
Send your work out to the world
When you're ready to share your padlets outside of your
inner circle, go to the Share menu and select
Share/Export/Embed. 

Export your padlet as a le, embed it on your website, send


the QR code, or share on social media. 

That's it. Now go make something
