MONTHLY ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN HOMEROOM GUIDANCE

I. Introduction

Guidance and counseling focus on helping our pupils to solve personal, social,
and academic problems. Through this, we can identify their problems such as family violence or
problems between students. In response with these problems, we use variety of counseling methods and
conflict methods and conflict resolution skills to resolve these problems. As a teacher we can be their
trusted guidance counselor. We can help pupils find their appropriate educational path and help them
stick to it.

II. Analysis

Pupils’ misbehavior lowered academic achievement and increased deliquent behavior. To lessen
their immediate and gradual adverse effects of pupils’ misbehavior. It is of primary important to identify
what exactly are these behaviors inside the classroom.

III. Milestones

It is helpful for our pupils to gain support from parents, friends, and of course from
the teacher and that act as their second parent. As a teacher we should set as a good example to them.
Good behavior should start from us.

IV. Suggestions and Recommendations to Strengthen the Program

Children learn behavior by watching and imitating others. Many types of behavior detract from
learning. These include talking out of turn, being out of the seat without permission, not paying attention
and disrupting other pupils by making noise or touching them. The teacher needs to identify the
problem, figure out how to change the behavior, and use this patternb consistently so all the pupils are
focused on the lesson being taught.
