Drillholes - Questions and Answers

The following snippets relate to the drillhole data type in Studio products.

How can I split samples at a wireframe boundary and composite over samples and parts of samples lying
within the wireframe?
The SELWF process selects samples that lie above/within/below a wireframe based on where the centre point of the
sample lies. It does not cut a sample. Therefore the process cannot be used to create partial samples.

The attached macro (TN00258_composite_within_wf.mac) splits samples where they intersect a wireframe
boundary. You first need to run the intersect-drillholes-wireframes command interactively to create the intersections
file before you can run the macro. The macro creates both a composites file over the intersections that lies with the
wireframe and also creates a copy of the input drillholes file but with samples split where they intersect the
wireframe.
