1. Music is very important in our life. Do you agree?

It is often said that music is the medicine to our life. Moreover, there is one quote
saying: “Music is the moonlight in the gloomy night of life”. Therefore, I truly agree with
the opinion that music is very important in our life.

It is often said that music is the medicine to our life. Moreover, there is one quote
saying: “Music is the moonlight in the gloomy night of life”. Therefore, I truly support
the opinion that music is very important in our life
First of all, in my opinion, music gives everyone a sense of pleasure and enjoyment as
music has its melody, rhythm which will always bring the relaxation to the humans’
mind. With music, people can constantly feel refresh and relaxed at the same time:
“Whenever we go, music follows”. People tend to dance or move their bodies with the
melody of music, which shows the reaction to music on its own. On the other hand,
scientists also show that listening to relaxing music and studying simultaneously do
improve the progress and even help us work more effectively
Secondly, music can actually heal humans’ soul. When you feel broken, or when you are
desperate, music will be the friend that helps you up. Like I said before, music brings
pleasure, happiness, lightens our life. Hearing music partly motivate ourselves to keep
on working or rise our spirit. Music will be the light shining through the night when life
really gets you down. Medicines might cure your physical body but can’t mend your
soul, music does, it can drive you far away from the busy life, erase the tiredness and
brighten your day.
In conclusion, I strongly agree that music is vital in our entire life. “Without music, life
would be a mistake”.
 2. Social networks such as Facebook or Twitter do more harm than good. Do you agree?

Social networks are believed to have two aspects. While it is claimed that they do more
harm than good. I agree with this opinion and think that these means of communication
have more disadvantages than advantages

Social networks are believed to have two aspects. While it is claimed that they they do
more harm than good. I agree with this opinion and think that these means of communication such as
Facebook or Twitter have more disadvantages than advantages.
To begin with my opinion, I consider that social media push people away from real-life
contacts and activities. Why I choose have that thought is because when ones spend too much time on
social networks, they are engrossed in the “unreal world” and they are completely ignorant of their daily
life, forget about their family, schoolwork and so on. For instance, chatting with strangers for a long time
can decease the real-life relationship. The attractiveness of social networks opens a fake world to the
users, which can make them attach to the phone, computers all day long.

From my second point of view, social networks can lead to mental and physical illnesses.
Some bad comments on Instagram, Facebook, Reddit,… really do affect the users’ emotion, feeling
which can cause mental break down, depression, anxiety. A lot of cases have been reported suicide, self-
harm recently, mostly teenagers. Besides bad words on social media, there is a huge number of
inappropriate contents such as Momo, Blue Whale,… which have an intensively harm on the youths
nowadays. These are some examples for the adverse side I want to express.

Everything has two sides, one is good and the other is bad and social network is not an
exception. If you know to use it wisely, you may achieve more good than harm
3. Classmates are a more important influence than parents on a child’s success in school. Do you
agree or disagree?

Some people think that schoolmates give more influence to a child’s success than
parent. Despite the fact the existence of friends has some positive effects, I personally
agree that parents give more significant effect to the child’s success

parent. Despite the fact the existence of friends has some positive effects, I personally
agree that parents give more significant effect to the child’s success
For my first opinion, I have to say school friends are those who share good affect but
also negative ones. Friends can give us a hand but maybe not for so long. When a child
helps his friends in many good ways and he expect to receive back the responses but it
falls short of his expectations, nothing comes back to him. That is kind of a let-down,
which might extremely cause a bad damage to the child’s health. Therefore, there is no
friends who are kind to you enough other than your parents.
Secondly, parents know the best, they are always ready to help their child whenever it
is. Parents are adults, they have a lot of experience, can understand their child’s
situation and give their children the best solution to face up to their problems. For
example, if a child has to stay up late to do exercise, his parents will stay side by side
and give him more motivation to work. Furthermore, not only about the mental side but
also financial one, for example, parents provide us with the fund we need to eat, to
study, to travel, etc. That’s why parents play the biggest roles to their children on earth.
A child studies a lot from his friends but lots more from his parents, parents are those
who will influence their child’s success the most and will forever be a light shining
through the dark
 4. One should never judge a person by external appearances. Do you agree or disagree?

Everyone was born with different personalities, different look, even if they don’t have
good-looking appearances, they might have talents. Therefore, I strongly agree with the
saying that one should never ever judge or criticize a person just by external
appearances

Everyone was born with different personalities, different look, …even if they don’t have good-looking
appearances, they might have talents. Therefore, I strongly agree with the saying that one should never
ever judge or criticize a person just by external appearance

In the first place, I have to say that no one is literally the same, they might not be what they look like.
We can’t judge someone right away with their emotions on their face or the way they behave. None of
us know the real person hiding under the external appearance only until we have talked to them or
made friend with them. On the other hand, judging someone by their look should be illegal because
those words might accidentally hurt the receivers so much. That’s why we should at least interact with
someone first before giving out the judgment.

In the second place, no one is perfect. Everyone is more or less beautiful with their appearance or what,
they can be beautiful in their own unique way. For example, Stephen Hawking was one of the greatest
English theoretical physicists and cosmologists in the world despite his appearance. God has made us
with something special maybe not the appearance but something else. So, we had better understand
the people we meet first before criticizing their outlook.

For the last words, I would say that everyone was gifted with beauty, not just about the appearance but
about the soul, that’s the reasons why people say: “Don’t judge the book by its cover”
5. Reading fiction (such as novels or short stories) is more enjoyable than watching movies. Do
you agree or disagree?

used to be common ways of relaxing. But nowadays, people see watching movies as
more enjoyable than reading fiction. Meanwhile, I truly find it more interesting and
amazing to read fiction than watching movies

used to be common ways of relaxing. But nowadays, people see watching movies as
more enjoyable than reading fiction. Meanwhile, I truly find it more interesting and
amazing to read fiction than watching movies
Firstly, every movie all originates from novels, movies are just the remakes of the based
stories written in many books. That’s why reading novels, tales from books gives us
much more details than movies do. Movies might be lots more interesting but to get
one movie to watch, you have to pay at least 20$ while reading fiction only costs you a
half. Famous movies are just based on famous novels, therefore before considering to
go to the cinema to watch a movie, try to read it’s based novel first
From my second point of view, reading fiction can particularly improve our reading skill
while movies can’t. Besides, reading can progress our thinking and imagination, we think
when we read, we imagine when we like to. A story from a book can’t be fascinating
without imagination. Scientists have pointed that reading doesn’t do as much harm tour
eyes as movies do so keep on reading as much as you could. We can also bring our
favorite books anywhere we want which would be very convenient and useful in our
busy daily life
To summarize all the ideas above, you can read books anywhere, any places and
improve your thinking and imagination. I want to say that reading fiction might sound
