Driving Test Manoeuver’s

Turn in the road:-

Into 1st gear, Observations all round before moving, slow road speed
Full right lock
Observations right, left and forward

2 turns left just before kerb

Apply handbrake

Select reverse gear

Observations all round, slow road speed

Full left lock as car starts to move

Observations starting over left shoulder working round left window to right window

Look over right shoulder, 2 turns right before too close to kerb.

Apply handbrake, select 1st gear

All round observations,

As car moves check right and left again.

Left reverse:-
Pull past junction about car length, having adjusted let door mirror to suit

Reverse to ref point on first white line at junction.

Stop check blindside,

Half turn left, all round obs

Kerb disappears off end of mirror, check blindside

Half turn left, all round obs

When car looks parallel to kerb 1 turn right

Adjust steering to suit

Reverse back until told to stop.

Apply handbrake, out of gear.

Reverse parallel park

Pull alongside target vehicle about 1 metre apart until left door mirror just past vehicle

Stop, select reverse, all round obs

Reverse until your vehicle level with end of target vehicle

Stop, check blindside, full left lock

When at 45deg to target vehicle, 2 turns right to straighten, full obs

Reverse back until ref point meets kerb/road joint

Full right lock, full obs

When your vehicle parallel to kerb/target vehicle, 2 turns left to straighten, stop apply handbrake and select
neutral

Right Bay park

Select 3rd line past chosen bay

Go just past, stop, adjust door mirrors, all round obs, reverse until elbow joint level with line

Blindside check

Full right lock

Check right/left shoulders, right/left door mirrors

Reverse car into bay as parallel and central as possible
