The War on Terror in Classrooms

and Clinics: An Inventory
Editors 3 Note: As part of this symposium issue on the impact of the war on terror on legal
education , the Journal of Legal Education asked law schools, through academic listservs, to
tell us about the courses and clinics they have created or substantially altered in the wake of the
g/11 attack and the resulting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We verified these contributions on
law school web sites (which led to a few additional courses and also to some deletions). We have
displayed this data in two ways, first by separately listing courses and clinics, and then combining
both in a listing by law schools. Although this inventory is likely not comprehensive, it nonetheless
indicates the robust and varied response by law schools to the momentous legal and political
developments of the past decade. We welcome additional contributions and/or corrections atjle@
swlaw.edu and plan to update this inventory and post online at www.swlaw.edu/jle.
