A. Static IP Address

______ In the Local Area Connections Properties window highlight Internet Protocol Version 4
(TCP/IPv4) then click Properties button.

______ Open the command prompt and type ipconfig to see if the network adapter settings have
been successfully changed.

______ Type ncpl.cpa then Click or press Enter.

______ Now select Use the following IP address and Enter the correct IP, Subnet Mask, and Default
Gateway that corresponds your network setup.

______ Right-click on your local adapter and select Properties.

B. Dynamic IP Address

______ Type ncpl.cpa then Click or press Enter.

______ In the Local Area Connections Properties window highlight Internet Protocol Version 4

______ Now select Obtain an IP address automatically and click Ok.
