1.3 Results and discussion:

Predictive maintenance is one of the most crucial benefits of innovative

technologies. It is carried out based on the current condition of the implement. It occurs

when a tool is running too hot, making equipment failure imminent and needs a

technician to diagnose the cause (Amruthnath & Gupta, 2018). During the break down of

oil and gas operations, there is an essential domino impact on energy supply; hence

predictive maintenance is vital in the industry. Predictive maintenance utilizes condition-

tracking implement to determine an asset’s operation instantly. An essential component in

predictive maintenance is IoT, which enables various assets and systems to link, operate

together, and share, analyze, and action data (Aalsalem et., 2017). Predictive

conservation is beneficial because it enables oil and gas-related operations to have the

capability to track the deterioration implement and parts deterioration, replace a part

before its failure, and most likely diagnose a problem remotely. Thus, it helps companies

in the petroleum and gas sector to predict failures in their technology and, therefore,

reduce equipment maintenance time and the useful hours lost to maintenance.

The analysis used in predictive maintenance includes vibration evaluation,

thermal imaging, oil evaluation, and implement observation. For instance, vibration

evaluation monitors the degrees and patterns of vibration signals within an element,

machinery, or structure, to detect unusual vibration events and to assess the entire

condition of the test object. Likewise, oil evaluation focuses on assessing the state of an

equipment’s lubricant (Selcuk, 2017). CCMS operates like any other content

management system, although it controls content at a more granular level. Within CCMS,

content is controlled at the levels of words, topics, concepts, or assets via the use of an

XML-based data model like DITA or DocBook, enabling users to maintain consistency

in the entire document or several documents as elements are reused rather than being

copied and pasted. CCMS enables improved searchability as the content is broken down

into smaller topics. Products like e-commerce sites employ CCMS functionality to

control their content.
