ABSTRACT GUIDELINE

1. Abstract must be in one paragraph only consist of 250-400 words.


2. Abstract must be written in English and free of spelling and grammar mistake.
3. A good abstract contains a background, problem statement, objective, novelty, benefits
to society etc.

POSTER GUIDELINE

Poster size is A4 (landscape or portrait).  Please follow InIIC format as below:


1. Names of Project
2. Leader, Project Members & Institution
3. Introduction/Background
4. Problem Statement
5. Objectives
6. Novelty
7. Benefit to the user 
8. Benefit to the society
9. Commercialization potential
10. Awards/recognition received         

VIDEO PRESENTATION GUIDELINE


The instructions for the video submission are:
1. Video must be uploaded in the YouTube channel. Please set the privacy setting to
'UNLISTED' if you want to restrict the audience to those who has the link only. 
2. Submit your video link to iniicsecretariat@gmail.com. Following the submission of the
video link, the presenter should add following information to the mail content;
1. Title of the project
2. Reference number
3. Name of the leader

Please make sure that the video are:


1. Clear sound and lighting
2. Minimum background noise

There is no restriction to use other support video presentation such as Powtoon, Spark video,
power point video presentation or a recording of you presenting the product. We suggest you to
emphasis on the evaluation criteria as shown in the 'Home' section. A clear and creative video
presentation may give a good impression to the juries. VIDEO DURATION IS STRICTLY LIMIT
TO 8 MINUTES ONLY.

ABSTRACT
This file provides a template for full paper of InIIC (competition and conference). The
full paper file shall be written in compliance with these instructions. The author is
asked to submit the paper in MS-Word. The file shall be saved with the paper ID
followed by corresponding author (Ex: 20179287 Smith Adam). An abstract should
not exceeding 500 words, in one paragraph (English), should appear on the top of
the first page, after the title of the paper in chapter titled "Abstract" (without chapter
number), after the names of the authors and the contact information of the
corresponding author.

Key Words: Maximum 5 Key words.

1. INTRODUCTION

It is expected that authors will submit carefully written and proofread material. Spelling and
grammatical errors, as well as language usage problems, are not acceptable in the final
submission. The paper must not exceeding five (5) pages and no less than four (4) pages.
Additional paper is charged USD15 (RM50) per page.
Papers should clearly describe the INTRODUCTION, LITERATURE REVIEW,
METHODOLOGY, RESULTS & DISCUSSION and CONCLUSION & RECOMMENDATION.
Papers are to be prepared in English (British or American). Technical terms should be
explained. Acronyms should be written out at their first appearance.

2. SUBMITTING THE PAPER

The Full paper has to be submitted electronically by e-mail to iniicsecretariat@gmail.com by


the deadline.

3. PAPER FORMAT

The uniform outlook will help the reader to follow the template. This can be obtained most
easily if authors use this template file to construct their papers. Please note the following
details: this template is an A4 format. All text paragraphs should be single spaced, with first line
intended by 10 mm (0.4 inch). Double spacing should only be used before and after headings
and subheadings as shown in this example. Position and style of headings and subheadings
should follow this example. No spaces should be placed between paragraphs. Please do not
change any of the above mentioned paragraph and font settings.

3.1. Fonts

Papers should use 10-point Arial font. The styles available are bold, italic and underlined.
It is recommended that text in figures is not smaller than 8-point font size.

3.2. Tables and Figures

Figure captions and table headings should be sufficient to explain the figure or table without
needing to refer to the text. Figures and tables not cited in the text should not be
presented. Styles Heading Table and Caption Figure are available in this template for tables
and figures. The following is the example for Table 1.

Tables and figures should be placed close after their first reference in the text. All figures
and tables should be numbered with Arabic numerals. Table headings should be above the
tables. Figure captions should be centred below the figures. Minimum figures’ resolution:
150dpi.
