DRAGAN (ED) BALOG was born in Pancevo, Serbia.


He has spent most of his life in Toronto, Ontario,
Canada, where he still resides. He published his first
book, Cathartic Windows in 2008 (Epic Press). Many
of his other writings have been published in: Canadian,
American, UK and European music magazines during
the 1990s, and the early 2000s. During that time,
he also headed the North American operations
of European-based Black Mark Productions, and
founded and ran his own record label, Utopian Vision Music. His new book, A
Gold Sheaf On A Grey Throne (FriesenPress), comes to light as a new writing
direction within the fictional realm.
