Divisibility Rules: 3, 4, 5, 6, and 9

there are rules with which you can quickly check whether a number is divisible by

The Rule for 3  if the sum of the digits is divisible by 3

The Rule for 4 : If the last two digits of a whole number are divisible by 4, then the
entire number is divisible by 4. 

The Rule for 5 : if the number ends in 0 or 5

The Rule for 6  if it is an even number that can be divided by 3 ( eg: 63 is divisible by 3 but its not an even
# and cannot be divided by 6)

The Rule for 9  if the sum of the digits is divisible by 9
