MENTOR PROGRAM FOR

ADOLESCENT GIRLS AND


YOUNG WOMEN IN UGANDA
OVERVIEW GULU, UGANDA
Increase girls' access to social support and services and 22 Anyaka Makwiri groups 
build protective factors through group-based 490 AGYW participated
mentoring. Curricula-based programming covers sexual 88 mentors trained
and reproductive health, financial capabilities, soft 22 community groups (CQI teams)
skills, and gender content. Activities, such as Local implementing partner: The
community service, are designed to increase girls' AIDS Support Organization (TASO)
social connectedness.  Time Frame: May-November 2017
